Benning Phase
The Benning Phase is a crucial part of the training process for soldiers in the United States Army. It typically occurs during the initial stages of Basic Combat Training, focusing on developing fundamental military skills, discipline, and teamwork. Soldiers learn essential tasks such as marksmanship, physical fitness, and basic first aid.
During the Benning Phase, recruits are also introduced to the Army's core values and the importance of leadership. This phase is named after Fort Benning, a key military installation in Georgia, known for its role in training infantry soldiers and conducting airborne operations.
