Benjamin Tucker
Benjamin Tucker (1854-1939) was an American individualist anarchist and a prominent advocate for libertarian socialism. He is best known for his work as a publisher and editor of the periodical Liberty, which played a significant role in spreading anarchist ideas in the late 19th century. Tucker's philosophy emphasized personal freedom, voluntary cooperation, and the critique of state power.
Tucker was influenced by the works of Max Stirner and Henry George, and he promoted the idea of free markets without government intervention. He argued against capitalism as it existed in his time, advocating for a system where individuals could freely exchange goods and services without coercion.
