Benaiah was a notable figure in the Hebrew Bible, specifically in the books of Samuel and Chronicles. He served as a military leader and was one of the mighty warriors of King David. Benaiah was known for his bravery and strength, having killed a lion in a pit on a snowy day, as well as defeating a formidable Egyptian warrior.
