Ben Hogan
Ben Hogan was an American professional golfer, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Born on August 13, 1912, in Stephenville, Texas, he became famous for his incredible ball-striking ability and work ethic. Hogan won a total of 64 PGA Tour events, including nine major championships, during his career.
In addition to his success on the course, Hogan is known for his influential book, Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf, which has helped countless golfers improve their game. He faced significant challenges, including a near-fatal car accident in 1949, but made a remarkable comeback to win several more titles.
