Ben Folds Five
Ben Folds Five is an American alternative rock band formed in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The group consists of three members: Ben Folds on piano and vocals, Robert Sledge on bass, and Darren Jessee on drums. They are known for their unique sound that blends pop, rock, and classical elements, often featuring clever lyrics and catchy melodies.
The band gained popularity in the 1990s with hits like "Brick" and "Song for the Dumped." They released several albums, including their self-titled debut and "Whatever and Ever Amen," before disbanding in 2000. Ben Folds Five reunited in 2011, continuing to create music and tour.
