Ben Agosto is a retired American ice dancer, born on September 15, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his partnership with Tanith Belbin, with whom he won several prestigious titles, including the 2006 World Championship and multiple medals at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Agosto and Belbin represented the United States in international competitions, including the Winter Olympics. Their performances were characterized by intricate choreography and strong athleticism, earning them a reputation as one of the top ice dance teams of their era. After retiring from competitive skating, Agosto transitioned into coaching and choreography.
