Bellbird
The Bellbird is a medium-sized bird known for its distinctive, melodious call that resembles a bell. Found primarily in the forests of Australia and New Zealand, it belongs to the family Meliphagidae, which includes various honeyeaters. The bird has a greenish-yellow plumage and is often seen foraging for nectar from flowers, making it an important pollinator in its habitat.
Bellbirds are social creatures, often seen in small groups. They build cup-shaped nests in trees, where they lay two to three eggs. Their diet mainly consists of nectar, but they also eat insects and fruits, contributing to the ecosystem's balance by controlling insect populations.
