Belgian Honors
Belgian Honors are a system of awards and decorations given by the King of Belgium to recognize individuals for their exceptional service and contributions to society. These honors can be awarded to both Belgian citizens and foreigners and cover various fields, including military, civil service, and cultural achievements.
The most notable of these honors is the Order of Leopold, established in 1808, which is awarded for merit in civil and military service. Other honors include the Order of the Crown and the Order of Arts and Letters, each celebrating different aspects of achievement and dedication to the nation.
