Beji Caid Essebsi
Beji Caid Essebsi was a Tunisian politician who served as the first democratically elected President of Tunisia from December 2014 until his death in July 2019. He was a key figure in the country's transition to democracy following the 2011 revolution that ousted long-time leader Zine El Abidine Ben Ali. Essebsi was known for his efforts to promote national dialogue and political stability.
