Bedik language
The Bedik language is a member of the Atlantic branch of the Niger-Congo language family. It is primarily spoken by the Bedik people, who reside in the southeastern region of Senegal. The language is known for its unique phonetic features and rich oral traditions.
Bedik is considered a minority language, with a small number of speakers. Efforts are being made to preserve the language and its cultural heritage, as it faces challenges from dominant languages like Wolof and French.
