Bed Components
A bed typically consists of several key components that work together to provide comfort and support. The main parts include the bed frame, which holds the mattress and provides structure, and the mattress, which is designed to support the body while sleeping. Additionally, a box spring may be used to absorb shock and add height to the bed.
Other important components include the headboard, which is the upright panel at the head of the bed, and the footboard, located at the foot. Bedding, such as sheets, blankets, and pillows, enhances comfort and style, while bed slats or a solid base provide support for the mattress.
