Bearded Dragons
Bearded Dragons are popular reptiles native to Australia. They belong to the family Agamidae and are known for their distinctive beard-like throat pouch, which they can puff out when threatened or during displays of dominance. These lizards typically grow to about 18 to 24 inches in length and have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years in captivity.
In the wild, Bearded Dragons inhabit arid, rocky areas and are primarily insectivorous, although they also consume some plant matter. They are known for their calm demeanor and can be easily handled, making them a favorite choice for pet owners. Proper care includes a suitable habitat, UVB lighting, and a balanced diet.
