Beak
A beak is a hard, pointed structure found on the faces of birds. It is made of keratin, the same material that forms human nails and hair. Beaks come in various shapes and sizes, adapted to the bird's diet and lifestyle. For example, hummingbirds have long, slender beaks for sipping nectar, while eagles have strong, hooked beaks for tearing flesh.
Beaks serve multiple functions beyond feeding. They are used for grooming, building nests, and even for communication. Different species of birds, such as parrots and sparrows, exhibit unique beak characteristics that help them thrive in their environments.
