Beachy Head Lighthouse
Beachy Head Lighthouse is located on the southern coast of England, near the town of Eastbourne. It stands at 43 meters tall and was first lit in 1902. The lighthouse is painted white with a red band, making it easily visible against the backdrop of the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head.
The lighthouse is situated on a rocky outcrop and is surrounded by the English Channel. It was built to guide ships safely along the coast and to warn them of the dangerous cliffs. Today, it remains an important navigational aid and is a popular subject for photographers and tourists.
