Be Stars
Be Stars are a type of massive star that are characterized by their high temperatures and luminosities. They typically have surface temperatures ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 Kelvin and are often found in young star clusters. These stars are much larger than our Sun and can be several times more massive.
Due to their intense energy output, Be Stars often exhibit strong stellar winds and can lose a significant amount of mass over time. They are known for their distinctive emission lines in their spectra, which are caused by the presence of circumstellar gas. This makes them important objects of study in the field of astrophysics.
