Battle of Rorke's Drift
The Battle of Rorke's Drift took place on January 22-23, 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War. A small British garrison, consisting of around 150 soldiers, defended a mission station against an attacking force of approximately 4,000 Zulu warriors.
