Battle of Haldighati
The Battle of Haldighati took place on June 18, 1576, between the forces of the Mughal Emperor Akbar and the Rajput king Maharana Pratap of Mewar. This battle was significant in Indian history as it showcased the resistance of the Rajputs against Mughal expansion. The conflict occurred in the rugged terrain of Haldighati, located in present-day Rajasthan.
Despite being outnumbered, Maharana Pratap and his troops fought valiantly against the Mughal army led by Man Singh. The battle ended inconclusively, with heavy casualties on both sides.
