Battle of Hakodate
The Battle of Hakodate was a significant conflict that took place from 1868 to 1869 during the Boshin War in Japan. It was fought between the forces of the Tokugawa shogunate and the imperial army, which aimed to restore power to the emperor. The battle occurred in and around the city of Hakodate, located on the northern island of Hokkaido.
