Battle of Eylau
The Battle of Eylau took place on February 7-8, 1807, during the War of the Fourth Coalition. It was fought between the forces of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Russian Empire, led by General Levin August von Bennigsen. The battle occurred near the town of Eylau in present-day Poland and was marked by harsh winter conditions and heavy snowfall.
