Battle of Evesham
The Battle of Evesham took place on August 4, 1265, during the Second Barons' War in England. It was fought between the forces of the royalist King Henry III and the rebel barons led by Simon de Montfort. The battle was significant as it marked a decisive victory for the royalists, effectively ending the barons' revolt.
