Batsbi language
Batsbi is a unique language spoken by the Batsbi people in the Republic of Georgia. It belongs to the Nakh-Daghestanian branch of the North East Caucasian language family. The language is primarily used in the village of Batsbi, where it has been preserved despite the influence of surrounding languages.
The Batsbi language is notable for its rich phonetic inventory and complex grammatical structure. It has been classified as endangered, with a declining number of speakers due to the dominance of Georgian and other regional languages. Efforts are being made to document and revitalize Batsbi to preserve its cultural heritage.
