Basketball Court
A basketball court is a rectangular area designed for playing the game of basketball. It typically measures 94 feet long and 50 feet wide in professional settings, with a smooth surface made of wood or synthetic materials. The court features a center circle, free-throw line, and two three-point lines that mark the distance for long-range shots.
At each end of the court, there are basketball hoops mounted on backboards. The hoop is 10 feet high and has a diameter of 18 inches. The court is divided into two halves, with each team defending one side while trying to score points by shooting the ball through the opponent's hoop.
