Barracuda
The barracuda is a predatory fish known for its elongated body and sharp teeth. It typically inhabits warm, tropical waters and can be found in both shallow reefs and open ocean. Barracudas are known for their speed and agility, making them effective hunters of smaller fish.
These fish can grow up to 6 feet long and are recognized by their distinctive, pointed snouts and silver scales. Barracudas are often seen in schools, but they can also be solitary. They play an important role in marine ecosystems by helping to control the populations of their prey, which includes species like small fish and squid.
