Barklice
Barklice are small, winged insects belonging to the order Psocoptera. They are commonly found on tree bark, leaves, and other surfaces in forests and gardens. Barklice feed on algae, fungi, and decaying plant material, playing a role in the ecosystem by helping to decompose organic matter.
These insects are typically less than 1/8 inch long and can be recognized by their soft bodies and long antennae. Barklice are harmless to plants and humans, and they often go unnoticed due to their small size and cryptic coloration, which helps them blend into their surroundings.
