Bannerman Castle Trust
The Bannerman Castle Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Bannerman Castle, located on Pollepel Island in the Hudson River. The castle was originally built in the early 1900s by Francis Bannerman VI, a Scottish-American arms dealer, as a storage facility for his military surplus business. Today, the Trust works to protect the site and promote its historical significance.
The Trust offers guided tours and educational programs to raise awareness about the castle's history and the surrounding environment. Through community engagement and fundraising efforts, the organization aims to ensure the long-term sustainability of the castle and its grounds for future generations to enjoy.
