Banjarese language
The Banjarese language is an Austronesian language spoken primarily by the Banjarese people in the South Kalimantan province of Indonesia. It is part of the larger Malay language family and has several dialects, reflecting the diverse cultural influences in the region.
Banjarese is used in daily communication, traditional ceremonies, and local media. The language has its own script, but it is often written using the Latin alphabet. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, especially among younger generations, to maintain its cultural heritage.
