Banjar
A Banjar is a traditional village community in Indonesia, particularly found in the island of Bali. It serves as a social and administrative unit, often consisting of several families living in close proximity. Each Banjar has its own leadership structure and plays a vital role in local governance, cultural activities, and community events.
In addition to its administrative functions, a Banjar is also a center for cultural practices, including religious ceremonies and traditional arts. The community often collaborates on projects, such as maintaining local temples and organizing festivals, which strengthen social bonds and preserve Balinese culture.
