Banesto
Banesto was a Spanish bank founded in 1902, originally known as Banco Español de Crédito. It became one of the largest banks in Spain, offering a wide range of financial services, including personal and business banking, loans, and investment products.
In 1994, Banesto faced financial difficulties and was acquired by Banco Santander, one of the largest banks in the world. After the acquisition, Banesto continued to operate under its brand, focusing on retail banking and expanding its presence in the Spanish market.
