Bandra-Worli Sea Link
The Bandra-Worli Sea Link is a cable-stayed bridge in Mumbai, India, connecting the neighborhoods of Bandra and Worli. Officially named the Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, it spans approximately 5.6 kilometers over the Arabian Sea, significantly reducing travel time between the two areas.
Opened to the public in 2009, the sea link features six lanes for vehicles and is designed to withstand high winds and seismic activity. It has become an iconic symbol of modern infrastructure in Mumbai, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the sea, while also easing traffic congestion in the region.
