Badíʿ Calendar
The Badíʿ Calendar is a solar calendar used by the followers of the Bahá'í Faith. It consists of 19 months, each containing 19 days, totaling 361 days. To align with the solar year, four additional intercalary days are added, making it a 365-day calendar.
The calendar begins on the vernal equinox, typically around March 21. Each month is named after a virtue, reflecting the spiritual principles of the Bahá'í teachings. The Badíʿ Calendar is significant for marking important Bahá'í events and celebrations, such as the Naw-Rúz (New Year) and the Ridván Festival.
