Bachama language
The Bachama language is a member of the Adamawa-Ubangi branch of the Niger-Congo language family. It is primarily spoken by the Bachama people in the Adamawa State of Nigeria. The language has several dialects and is used in daily communication, cultural practices, and local governance.
Bachama is an important part of the community's identity and heritage. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, especially among younger generations, as globalization and urbanization pose challenges to its continued use.
