Babirusa
The Babirusa, also known as the "deer pig," is a unique species of wild pig found primarily in the forests of Indonesia. It is notable for its long, curved tusks that can grow through the skin and curve back towards its face. Babirusas have a slender body, long legs, and a sparse coat of bristly hair, which helps them adapt to their forest habitat.
These animals are herbivorous, primarily feeding on fruits, leaves, and roots. Babirusas are social creatures, often found in small groups. They are considered vulnerable due to habitat loss and hunting, making conservation efforts essential for their survival.
