Baal HaSulam
Baal HaSulam was the pen name of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, a prominent Jewish mystic and Kabbalist born in 1885 in Poland. He is best known for his commentaries on the Zohar and for his work on the Kabbalah, which seeks to explain the nature of the universe and the relationship between the divine and humanity. His writings emphasize the importance of spiritual development and the interconnectedness of all souls.
Baal HaSulam's most significant contribution is the Sulam (Ladder), a commentary on the Zohar that makes Kabbalistic teachings more accessible. He also wrote "The Study of the Ten Sefirot," which outlines the structure of the spiritual world. His teachings continue to influence contemporary Kabbalistic thought and practice.
