BWF
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton. Founded in 1934, it oversees the organization of major tournaments, including the BWF World Championships and the BWF Thomas Cup. The BWF also sets the rules and regulations for the sport, ensuring fair play and standardization across competitions.
In addition to managing competitions, the BWF promotes badminton globally, working to increase participation and develop the sport at all levels. The federation collaborates with national badminton associations and supports initiatives to enhance coaching, training, and facilities, contributing to the growth of badminton as a popular sport worldwide.
