BREAKDANCE
BREAKDANCE, also known as b-boying, is a dynamic style of street dance that originated in the 1970s in the South Bronx, New York City. It combines elements of hip-hop culture, acrobatics, and intricate footwork. Dancers, called b-boys or b-girls, perform on the ground and in the air, showcasing their strength, agility, and creativity through various moves like spins, freezes, and toprocks.
The dance is often performed to breakbeat music, which features strong rhythmic patterns. BREAKDANCE has evolved over the years and is now recognized globally, with competitions and events, such as the Red Bull BC One, celebrating the art form and its talented practitioners.
