Börte
Börte was a significant historical figure in the 13th century, known for being the first wife of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire. She was born into the Kereit tribe and married Genghis Khan, originally named Temüjin, when they were both young. Their marriage was politically motivated, strengthening alliances between tribes.
Börte played a crucial role in Genghis Khan's rise to power. She was captured by a rival tribe early in their marriage, but Genghis Khan rescued her, showcasing his commitment. Together, they had several children, including Jebe and Kublai Khan, who would later become influential leaders in their own right.
