Automotive Steering
Automotive steering refers to the system that allows a driver to control the direction of a vehicle. It typically consists of a steering wheel, steering column, and various linkages that connect to the wheels. When the driver turns the steering wheel, the movement is transmitted through these components, enabling the vehicle to change direction.
There are different types of steering systems, including rack and pinion and recirculating ball systems. Modern vehicles may also feature power steering, which uses hydraulic or electric assistance to make steering easier, especially at low speeds. This enhances driver comfort and control while driving.
