Australian continent
The Australian continent is the smallest of the seven continents and is located in the Southern Hemisphere. It is surrounded by the Indian and Pacific Oceans and is known for its diverse landscapes, including deserts, rainforests, and coastal regions. The continent covers an area of about 7.7 million square kilometers.
Australia is home to unique wildlife, such as kangaroos and koalas, and has a rich Indigenous culture that dates back thousands of years. Major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane are located on the eastern coast, while the vast interior is often referred to as the Outback.
