Australian Inland Mission
The Australian Inland Mission (AIM) was established in 1912 by the Reverend John Flynn to provide medical and spiritual support to remote communities in the Australian outback. AIM aimed to address the needs of people living in isolated areas, offering services such as healthcare, education, and pastoral care.
AIM played a significant role in the development of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, which provides emergency medical care to those in remote regions. The mission's work has been vital in improving the quality of life for many Australians living far from urban centers.
