Augustinian order
The Augustinian Order, officially known as the Order of Saint Augustine, is a Catholic religious order founded in the early 13th century. It follows the Rule of Saint Augustine, which emphasizes community life, prayer, and service. Members of the order, known as Augustinians, engage in various ministries, including education, pastoral work, and missionary activities.
The order is inspired by the teachings of Saint Augustine of Hippo, a prominent theologian and philosopher. Augustinians are dedicated to living in community and fostering spiritual growth, often establishing schools and parishes to serve their local communities.
