Atmospheric Temperature
Atmospheric temperature refers to the measure of how hot or cold the air is in the Earth's atmosphere. It is typically measured in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) using instruments like thermometers. Temperature can vary based on factors such as location, time of day, and weather conditions.
The Earth's atmosphere is divided into layers, and temperature changes with altitude. Generally, temperature decreases as altitude increases in the troposphere, the lowest layer of the atmosphere. However, in the stratosphere, temperature can increase with altitude due to the absorption of ultraviolet radiation by the ozone layer.
