The Atago-Class is a series of guided-missile destroyers used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. Designed for multi-role capabilities, these ships are equipped with advanced radar and weapon systems, allowing them to engage in air defense, anti-surface, and anti-submarine warfare. Commissioned in the early 2000s, the Atago-Class features a stealthy design and enhanced survivability.
