Astoria Column
The Astoria Column is a tall monument located in Astoria, Oregon. It was completed in 1926 and stands 125 feet high, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. The column is decorated with a spiral frieze that depicts significant events in the history of the region, including the arrival of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
