Asiatic Wild Ass
The Asiatic Wild Ass, also known as the Indian Wild Ass, is a subspecies of wild ass found primarily in the Rann of Kutch in India. This animal is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and a short, erect mane. It has a light brown coat with white underparts and a distinctive dark stripe along its back.
Asiatic Wild Asses are herbivorous and primarily graze on grasses and shrubs. They are well-adapted to arid environments, capable of surviving with minimal water. These animals are social and often found in small herds, which helps them evade predators in their natural habitat.
