Asian Istanbul
Asian Istanbul, also known as the Asian side of Istanbul, is one of the two main parts of the city, separated from the European side by the Bosporus Strait. This area is known for its quieter neighborhoods, lush parks, and beautiful waterfront views. Popular districts include Kadıköy, famous for its vibrant market and cultural scene, and Üsküdar, known for its historic mosques and stunning views of the Istanbul skyline.
The Asian side offers a mix of modern and traditional experiences, with shopping centers, local eateries, and historical sites. It is less touristy than the European side, providing a more authentic glimpse into daily life in Istanbul. Visitors can enjoy scenic ferry rides across the Bosporus, connecting the two continents of Asia and Europe.
