Ashikaga Yoshinori
Ashikaga Yoshinori was the sixth shōgun of the Ashikaga shogunate in Japan, serving from 1429 to 1441. He was born in 1394 and was the son of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the third shōgun. Yoshinori's reign was marked by political instability and conflicts with powerful regional lords, known as daimyō.
During his rule, Yoshinori attempted to strengthen the central authority of the shogunate but faced significant challenges. His leadership ended when he was assassinated in 1441, leading to further turmoil in the Muromachi period. His death highlighted the ongoing struggles for power among the samurai class in Japan.
