Asexual Spectrum
The asexual spectrum refers to a range of sexual orientations that include varying degrees of sexual attraction. At one end, individuals may identify as completely asexual, meaning they experience little to no sexual attraction to others. On the other end, some may identify as demisexual, where sexual attraction occurs only after forming a strong emotional connection.
This spectrum acknowledges that sexual attraction is not a binary concept but exists in many forms. People on the asexual spectrum may still desire romantic relationships, leading to terms like romantic orientation that describe their feelings toward love and companionship without sexual involvement.
