Arkansas Senate
The Arkansas Senate is the upper chamber of the Arkansas General Assembly, which is the state's legislative body. It consists of 35 members who are elected to serve four-year terms. Senators represent various districts across the state and are responsible for creating and voting on state laws, budgets, and policies.
The Arkansas Senate works alongside the Arkansas House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the General Assembly. Together, they address issues affecting the state, such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The Senate also plays a role in confirming appointments made by the Governor of Arkansas.
