Arizona State Senate
The Arizona State Senate is the upper chamber of the Arizona Legislature, which is responsible for making state laws. It consists of 30 members who are elected to serve two-year terms. Each senator represents a specific district within the state, and the Senate works alongside the lower chamber, the Arizona House of Representatives, to create and pass legislation.
The Senate has various committees that focus on different areas, such as finance, education, and health. These committees review proposed bills and make recommendations before they are voted on by the full Senate. The Governor of Arizona can also influence legislation by signing or vetoing bills passed by the Senate.
