Arhat
An Arhat is a person who has attained enlightenment in the context of Buddhism. This state is achieved through deep meditation, ethical living, and the understanding of the true nature of reality. Arhats are free from the cycle of birth and rebirth, known as samsara, and have overcome all forms of desire and suffering.
In the Theravada tradition, Arhats are highly respected and serve as spiritual guides for others on the path to enlightenment. They embody the teachings of the Buddha and are seen as role models for practitioners striving to achieve similar spiritual goals.
